By downloading, installing, or using HoldUp ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

HoldUp is a personal finance tool that helps you:

• Analyze purchase decisions by converting prices to work hours
• Set cooldown periods before making purchases
• Track savings goals and streaks
• Monitor subscription costs
• Complete savings challenges and earn achievement badges

2. Use of the App

• The App is for personal, non-commercial use
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the App
• Financial calculations are estimates and should not be considered professional financial advice
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter

3. Intellectual Property

• The App and its content are owned by HoldUp
• 3D icons are provided by Icons8 under their free-with-attribution license
• Open-source libraries used by the App are credited in the "Open Source Licenses" screen inside the App
• You may not copy, modify, resell, or distribute the App or its assets

4. Advertisements

• The App displays advertisements powered by Google AdMob
• Ads consist of (a) a small banner above the bottom tab bar, and (b) an occasional full-screen (interstitial) ad on the Worth-It screen, shown after you tap Skip & Save or Reset. Interstitials are rate-limited to a minimum of 60 seconds between shows and a maximum of three per session.
• Ad content is provided by third-party advertisers
• We are not responsible for the content of advertisements
• Ad revenue supports the free availability of the App

5. Data & Privacy

• All your financial data is stored locally on your device
• We do not access, collect, or store your personal financial information on our servers

6. Disclaimer

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT:

• Financial calculations are 100% accurate
• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Results will meet your specific requirements

THE APP DOES NOT PROVIDE FINANCIAL ADVICE. Consult a qualified financial advisor for investment decisions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to financial decisions made based on App calculations.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue the App or any feature without notice.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
